 Adaora Ukoh and Queen Nwokoye at the Orphanage on her Birthday Nollywood Actress and the host of DIVAS DYNASTY, a female empowerment talk show ,marked her birthday on the 27th of Apri 2011l. Adaora Ukoh remarkably and selflessly, spent her special day bringing smiles to the faces of handicapped and less privileged children. She visited the home with fellow Nollywood Actress Queen Nwokoye, close friends and family. They presented their hosts with food, clothing , shoes , toiletries, baby essentials and cash.  Adaora and Queen with some of the kids Adaora expressed how much joy she derived from spending time with the children. “ I was overwhelmed with emotion as these beautiful children sang Happy Birthday in my honour. Seeing their happy faces brought me close to tears, an experience I would rate as priceless. There couldn’t be a better way to spend one’s Birthday and I would certainly recommend that we all try it at some point in our lives ”. She urged all celebrities, great and small to make time to befriend the less privileged. Adaora promised to visit again on Children’s Day.  Gifts for the Children   It is the norm to expect gifts and presents on one's birthday but quite unusual to be giving them out. We applaud Adaora for leading by examples and inspiring us all to do likewise. |
