MY LAST WEEKEND

Yeah my last weekend was crazy, mad, entertaining whatever to qualify that with i do not know but the truth is i had a very fun filled last weekend in Warri, to thnk that was my first visit to the town.

Warri as a town is a groovy place, the event was actually a burial ceremony so i and some of my colleagues were invitees as VIP guest appearance, it was a three day event which kicked off on our arrival day one. All arranged first class ticket boarded on arik and when we arrived benin airport series of cars were waiting for our grand arrival with camera everywhere taking snapshots it all looked to me like some red carpet event
There was a mini reception bb.q party held at the villa home of the celebrant, his villa had an out of the world look with different buildings representing different segments of the house with an exquisite almost an olympic sized pool, a riverside view with his personal mini yatch that will sail us to the burial venue. He is a young man in his mid thirties and a lovely half cast wife whom was very receptive.
All sorts of champagne from cristal, don perignon, nectar imperial rose, etc was served in the house.The highpoint of the night was when a group of guyz came in and entertained with a local gong beat popularly known in my dialect as OGENE including  the celebrant danced, sang and cracked real warri jokes that i almost cracked my rib from laughter. we went into the club arena in his house with an in house DJ whom was very good and danced half the night away, before retiring into our various rooms in an exquisite hotel, where i slept off like a baby.
